Types of flexographic inks
In flexo there are 3 types of inks which are the most common. Base inks Water, the base inks solvent and the inks Uv are the 3 categories that this printing system uses.
Each of these types of ink can be sub-classified for its characteristics.
Some are made by manufacturers thinking about their final function in the packaging, its intensity, the ability to generate more uniform layers of ink or the printing speed, among others.
Ink types are adapted according to the type of printer, since according to the technical manufacturing conditions of the machine, a certain type of ink may or may not be used.
